Frequently asked questions

What AYTD is designed to do, where user review matters, and what remains outside the initial release.

What is AYTD?

AYTD is an Australian-focused record-keeping and summary-preparation tool initially designed for rental property owners.

Does AYTD replace my accountant or tax agent?

No. AYTD helps organise records and prepare summaries. It does not provide professional tax advice or lodge tax returns.

Does AI decide whether an expense is deductible?

No. AI can assist with extracting and suggesting information, but users remain responsible for review and correct tax treatment.

Can I correct extracted information?

Yes. Manual review and correction are central to the intended workflow.

Can I keep records for several properties?

Yes. Property-based organisation is a core feature of the planned initial release.

Does AYTD record rental income?

AYTD is expected to support lightweight income summaries and relevant supporting documents. It is not a full rental-income ledger or bank-reconciliation system.

Does AYTD calculate depreciation or capital works?

Not in the initial release. Depreciating-asset schedules, decline-in-value calculations and capital-works deduction schedules are outside the current scope.

Is AYTD property-management software?

No. AYTD does not manage tenants, rental arrears, maintenance workflows or property-manager operations.

Is pricing available?

Launch pricing is still being finalised. No numerical pricing has been approved for publication.

Can I join now?

You can express interest through the early-access page once its submission service is approved. The current local form is a safe demonstration only.
